After two years of being virtual, The Springfield and Central Illinois African American History Museum is proud to announce that its 11th Annual Gala will be in person! This year’s theme is: “Honoring Our Heritage: Cooperative Economics – Strong Businesses and Entrepreneurship”. The 2022 special honorees embody the concept of the fourth Kwanzaa principle - Ujamaa “to build and maintain our own business and support each other economically".

The Gala will be held at the Northfield Conference Center, Springfield, Illinois, on Thursday, October 13, 2022. There will be a silent auction and reception at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will follow at 7:00 p.m.

The price of tickets is $65 for adults and $32 for students. If you would like a vegetarian meal please select the vegetarian meal option when ordering tickets.
