Compass for Kids is a local, not-for-profit organization that provides academic and social-emotional support to empower underserved children and families. We accomplish this through innovative school year and summer programs for children in Springfield Public Schools - District 186. Compass takes a holistic view of children and recognizes that social, emotional, and life skills contribute to their overall well-being and academic success.

The Back to School Brunch is held each September to celebrate the strides Compass for Kids students made over the course of the previous school year and summer. This event, the largest annual fundraiser for Compass, generates momentum for the program as it goes into the new school year.
