About This Event
With Lee-Ann Burgener of the Dana-Thomas House Foundation. This is a story of a home that became a commercial office and now is an Illinois Historic Site.
As we look toward the future, we remain committed to preserving our past.
In 2026, one of the ways the Illinois State Historical Society honors the 250th anniversary of the United States is with a focus on the preservation of historic buildings and reuse. Structures represent our cultural history in many ways – the experiences of the people who live and work in and around them and the architectural design elements of built environments reveal our heritage. Please join us for the special program listed below. For more info, visit www.historyillinois.org.
